This is just a filler review. The mask you see in the picture above is from a Japanese Store Daiso, which I was so happy to find, since all the Japanese stuff is so cute and innovative ^-^
I had bought this almost a year back,so that I could use it before any grand function. So many functions passed by and I never used it until 2 months back.
And that too during exams I was bored of studying and I thought why not use the mask.
I had seen a review on it , the lady who used had a very bad reaction from it,so I was scared as well.

Check out the translation :D

What the product says:
(By the way since I used this two months back it's so hard to read the description off the picture that too with a shadowy cast :p)

Our mask pack shields the surface of the skin with a protective layer which also increases the skins temperature during the application. The layer prevents moisture from escaping, helps to revive, nourish, soften and oxygenate the skin while removing impurities. The concentrated? extract in the pure natural cotton mask contains a soft herbal aromatherapy scent for a relaxing experience.(Pheww ;-) )
And I guess from the packaging that it contains orange extract. :D Apart from that it contains ginkgo and arbutin :D

Orange obviously is enriched in Vitamin C and other essential oils with anti-oxidant properties that hep lighten skin tone.
Ginkgo is another anti-oxidant with anti-inflammatory properties which protects the skin from UVB rays and improves collagen production.Reduces redness and lightens pigmentation.
Arbutin is another effective skin lightening agent found in wheat and pear skin

Since I am not Japanese or Korean since that's where the product was made I don't know much of the ingredients , but I read another bloggers review , which said it contains ethanol
.

Directions for use:
Apply on clean face for 20-30 minutes and remove the mask and massage the residue onto your skin.

My thoughts on the product:
Well, I was amazed and wished that I used the product before.I have a very sensitive skin.I instantly felt my skin cooling and after 25 minutes of wearing the mask I removed it and gosh! was my face glowing even my mom asked what I had done to my face . It though had a very strange smell almost like Curry maybe my smell recognition / identification skills are bad, but it definitely wasn't a pleasant smell. But my skin was very calmed and lightened. It's only a mask and I am sure that one time use will not give anyone the desired results.
I will buy this product again , although I prefer trying out other products.

(Did you notice I still have some of my henna left on my hand from when  I did my Mehndi Post ;) )

The cotton sheet is heavily packed with the product. As you can see a mere contact left residue on my hand which obviously means it's good in transferring the product from the sheet to the face. Also its very sheer. The mask was way big for my face. But I guess some things just can't be helped.

   Have a nice day!!!!

Yes, I know, I am an epitome of a procrastinating teen . But I just had or am on a Winter Break or Winter Vacations :p so I thought to take a break from everything ;) !!!
Anyways my AS results (term exams) were awesome so guess what the genius got as gift ?? hehe A Samsung Galaxy S3 :D I am so happy!!
Anyways today I went on a shopping spree originally to buy a flip case for my phone, ended up doing buying 2 instead :D
As you can see there was this major sale at Centrepoint up to 60% off .So I had to just shop!!
I got 2 rings for myself and Revlon ColourStay UnderEye Concealer. The Garnier BB Cream and Clearasil Ultra Cleansing pads from my groceries :D
The other new items I bought include Tressme Shampoo and Condition Colgate Optic White Toothpaste and 360 Toothbrush (extra information)
I know I have been slacking off but I have 2 confirmed reviews (In shaa Allah) and 2 more from the products I bought today :D
The Garnier BB cream was bought for the second time I was so excited seeing it at Danube Hypermarket that didn't care I was buying the shade Medium which is way more dark and orange than my skin tone.
Anyways this post was to confirm that I am alive I just have been reading some books on Wattpad.Amazing people :D

Have a Nice Day!!!

Yep! I am reiewing an awsome product.I'm serious I was so surprised when I saw, literally all gurus on youtube and blogs, rave ,literally rave, about how super dooper magical this product was, I wanted to get one,but from where? It's so hard to find things here, but one day I was randomly scrolling a local pharaamcy that sells French products and I saw this on the list.I squealed with excitement, and went out to buy it that very day :D

Initially when I bought it , I wanted to be the first one to ever give a negative review about,I mean I never expect any product to work like magic, but this product, yes this one,it proved me wrong and I was so glad it did :D

As you guys see ,this is not the regular one, aka the Crealine, which is meant for all skin types, they didn't have it,but I was happy as I guess the Sebium is more subjected to my skin type that is oily or combination :D This one is with a blue tint and really soft scent almost like the one that comes from Johnson's & Johnson's baby products :')

What it really does:

Its so much more amazing than the description in its bottle :

-It's water free cleanser, causes no break out of whatsoever form
-A freaking awesome make-up remover, perfect for removing waterproof and eye makeup
-Doesn't burn the skin or eyes
-Refreshes and soothes skin instantly, perfect for after school
-Has the most amazing scent ever
-Makes the skin so smooth and soft
-Doesn't leave a greasy feel like other make-up removing wipes
-And all packed in a 250 ml bottle for SR 75

How I use it:

I use three cotton pads.Soak them about, when they are 60% wet with the product.Keep one one each eye, and press gently for 2-3 minutes and then swipe off.Turn the pad around and clean any left outs (which won't be needed) I even tried it for my waterline ,didn't sting me a bit ,but I wouldn't recommend  to anyone to try that..Use the last cotton pad to remove make-up off my face and neck..Gahh!!, it does wonders, I was appalled by the result.Even my mom said, that it didn't look like I had heavy make-up on before.Instant re freshness.Almost reminded me, of how my skin felt after my first facial treatement :D

I used it to remove make-up on Eid .Can u make out my lids, liner and lashes (hahaha) in the picture above??I was so surprised to find my eyes squeaky clean :)

Just check out the two pictures,of the swatches of all kind of make-up products ,I did on my arm.Can you see the magic of this product!!Are you left completely dumbfounded?!? Yeah,me too..Looks good as new :)
You will also be amazed that even if you have no make-up on,how much dirt can it get rid off from your face.Simply love the product.Definitely will make a re-purchase and recommend it to everyone.

I rate it, INFINITE stars!!!!

YaY!!!Finally, may first term exams get over :D
So to get back in shape I'll start off with a short and sweet review, featuring pictures from my new camera (Canon PowerShot SX 240 HS) :D

Picture of the packaging taken almost a month ago with my not so HD S2 camera ;)

Gahh!!! So HD :D

How I came across the product:

I always was in love with my Labello Fruity Shine in Strawberry, but couldn't find that particular flavour/colour.So I saw this at the counter of my nearby Pharmacy so I bought the "Pink Gloss" first,(it's my second time buying it) and later on the "Strawberry Season" to replace my Labello.

What I think of this/these product(s):

I absolutely adore them their bullets are not flat but shaped like our everyday lipsticks!!
So you have a precise application.I must say they look like those fake kiddo lipsticks we bought as a kid,so I wasn't sure I'd put them on.But OMG these are the perfect ones for me.They make your lips incredibly soft due to Shea Butter(pink) and Primrose Oil(red) and have glossy finish. They are tinted another reason to love them and perfect for all those who go to schools with a "no make-up policy"
I must say the packaging is very kiddish, but I don't really care my bullets are not very sharp because they've been used over a month. And as far as the smell goes it smells like crayons but once on your lips ,you can't smell a thing :) As they are only lip balms they obviously don't have long-lasting finish but they really fill us the cracks in your lips , rather than making them obvious as other lip balms do.Oh and the sad part is they don't have any SPF in them particularly these two I don't know about the other flavours.

Here are the swatches. You can see the colours are really "pretty and shiny"!!

I'd recommend this product to anyone for all ages.I guess males can use it as these lip balms come in other flavours which  I assume are not tinted :)

I rate this product: ✰✰✰✰ and .75
(-0.25 for not having SPF)

Eid ul Fitr 2012:

Really loved the design, got it for SR 15 per side.

Eid ul Adha:

Loved the colour, but not really the design SR 10 for each side

My first ever try, I was so proud of myself, but now I look back at this design,I find it so eww :'(

Second attempt.OK.Not that pretty..

3rd,I really fell in love with the second flower :D,not those "butterflie-supposed-to-be-flowers" on the sides -__-.

Did this today, except the finger tips,I feel so proud, and happy with the improvement. :D

Yay!!, uptill last year I could barely hold the cone,I can't believe I reached this stage.Although, it looks like scribbles if the cone is half way used :( But practice makes perfect YaY!!

Have a nice day!!

So Sorry for the late update :)
I don't have any pictures from the 3rd day since I didn't really get ready that day.
The first 2 days went boring, dead boring,so I don't have much to say.But the 3rd day it rained and I enjoyed it under the open sky :D  Always believe in miracles :) because they do happen.... I love the contrast in both day both in terms of colour and price :P I know the second day makeup pictures were taken by a webcam,so they are of low resolution. The looks from both the day are pretty similar except day one is a bit darker. And YAY!! I finally got Churidaar sleeves. The second dress indeed is a unique style which I was very unsure of ,while buying,it turned out to be great dress complemented by all :D

❣Have a nice day!!!❣

P.S.:I'll soon post a few product reviews and Mehndi 2012

Gift box??? hehe that's what I thought when my BFF gave it to me.My thoughts went to perfumes, clutches ???...and when I opened the box

I was like BFF this is empty... ,maybe it's a scroll, piece of decoration :D,and she was like no you dumbo it's a bangle set holder!! Ahh!! I squealed, literally!!, since I wanted one from so long,Thank YOU so much BFF ,usually people gift you random things, but she gave me something I wanted so badly :D

It's like a big round gift box,button-ended straps and has this velvet-ish material inside.
Obviously it doesn't hold all my bangles, but I keep my extra shiny small sets of bangles in it :D
This is something she got from India, yeah, she's an Indian, and so I don't know where you'd get one from. But it's so shiny!! and freaking cute and it's RED  <3

Here's some pictures to show it off

Just in case, you are wondering where these bangles are from:
First: Random shop near my house
Second: Random street shop in Madina ,bought them when I was a seventh grader
Third: LA Passion I guess??
Fourth: KATWALK in Pakistan, when I was in eighth.

Dhu-al-Hijjah is the month of pilgrimage, the Hajj which is one of the five pillars of Islams, obligatory on all Muslims who are of age, have the health and wealth to do so.It consists of elements from the time of the Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
It begins from the 8th of Dhul-Hijja till the 12th corresponds to (24th October of this year). They are quiete a few rites that are performed during Hajj,an since I am no scholar you better refer to a good book on Hajj.Again, Hajj shows equality amongsts Muslims of all caste and races, and is an act of submission to Allah.
After Ramy al-Jamarat (Stoning of the devil), is the slaughtering of the animal,to symbolise the mercy Allah had on Propher Ibrahim (AS) by replacing his son with a ram, that was then sacrificed. After this Muslims all around the world celebrate Eid-ul-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice) or Bakra Eid (Bakra=Goat),which lasts for three days.
Those who have not performed the Hajj, will also offer the sacrifice, which is then divided into 3 parts, one for the family itself, other for neighbours or relatives and the last one for the needy.Oh and the days of the Hajj, people who aren't able to perform it ,can spend their time fasting, reading the Quran all of which is very rewarding.

****Disclaimer: I am no scholar, this was just to enlighted my readers ,if you wish to seek Islamic guidance,do go for more authenticated sources.****

Finally, Hajj vacations are here :D !!
So today I am going to another review (surprise, surprise) but this one's the one I've been raving for a long time.

What it says:
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 30 feels like you have nothing on, but offers broad-spectrum protection to help prevent sun damage.
This dermatologist-tested formula uses Avobenzone to provide advanced protection against damaging UVA and UVB rays, along with Dry-Touch technology for an ultra-light, non-shiny finish. Fast-absorbing and waterproof, this non-oily formula is enriched with anti-oxidants to help skin fight the harm caused by environmental damage.
Heavy sun protection never felt this light on your skin.
Waterproof
Sweatproof
PABA-free
Non-comedogenic (won't clog pores)

What it does:
Really in short everything it claims,it's just so amazing, I can't tell you!! It's obviously moisturising enough,at first it was a li'l greasy but later on  it just became matte, I was really really surprised,it didn't give a whitish cast on my face ,neither did I feel I had something on my face,it is really light-weight and stays on well. The skins becomes really smooth which is actually very compatible with my foundation routine. Moreover, it's not sticky, just perfect doesn't smell so bad and is the perfect base for my make-up :D And I haven't shown any allergic reaction to it ,neither does it break me out.I recommend this to everyone 'coz it's simply amazing :D.Oh! and I apply it using the five-dot system,so I get an even layer. The only thing got me a tad bit sceptical was applying it only 15 minutes before leaving, which obviously I don't have time for,so I don't know whether its as effective or not. Rating it 5 Stars !!
That's pretty much it for this entry :D
It cost me around SR42 which is quiet less than what I paid for the Nivea sunscreen :D

Garnier Light Eye Roll-on:

What it claims:
Eye puffiness and dark circles can make your eyes look dull & tired.Garnier Light Eye Roll-on is a massaging roll-on that combines caffeine and the draining effect of a massage to reduce puffiness and dark circles and brighten the eye contour.
Massage is a technique used by experts to boost natural draining and decongest tired eyes. The formula, enriched with caffeine, known for its stimulating properties on micro-circulation, helps to brighten the skin and boost radiance.

What it does: Does exactly what it does, this product amazes me,When I first bought it a year ago I was sceptical about trying it out as previous Garnier products caused an allergy on my face. But when I first put it on my eyes,it was the best feeling ever. The liquid is transparent, and the metal roller which not only massages the under-eye area but also gives a cool feeling to it. Instantly? hmmm that's a little exaggerating but it does make your eyes look less swollen and not so dark.Roll it gently under the yes for 30 seconds and then pat gently and wait for the magic.I like the slim container and the product dispenses of really easily, just give it a little shake before applying. And this awesomeness is just for SR 22!!! We just loves this product so much :D

Garnier Light Anti Dark Circles 2-in-1 Tinted Eye Roll-on:  (the name's li'l too long :D)

What it claims:
Dark circles not only make you look tired but also darken your eye contour. Garnier introduces Light Anti Dark Circles 2-in-1 Tinted Eye Roll-on, the 1st refreshing roll-on with dual anti dark circles action
Instant covering action: Concentrated in mineral pigments, it covers dark circles in a flash. Giving you soft, natural looking finish for long lasting wear.
Anti dark circle hydrating care: Enriched with caffeine and pure lemon essence, known for its brightening properties, it combines a hydrating formula and the draining effect of a massage to effectively reduce dark circles and reveal a radiant and fresh look.

What it does:
I just loooooove this product and I have no words for how amazing this product is.Just similar to it's sister product but has one tiny change it's tinted YAY!! It's available in two shades over here : Light-002 (which is sold as Sheer Tint in the US) and Medium-003 (Medium/Deep).I use the latter and my mom the former. And we both love this product.I am on the second bottle and  I have no complaints with the product or the packaging :D It dispenses of really well and blends in really good.

As you can see that's the amount of product that comes out in 1 roll.
But for those who dry under-eye areas I would recommend using an eye-cream prior to application or else it'll look all flaky.Very natural and light finish, stays on for a good 6 hours of school ^_^.And it conceals and illuminates :D And the best part is I use it as an overall concealer for my face.Apart from the eyes I just on the nose and nose corners, centre of the forehead in a fan shape and the mouth corners.I know it's not meant for those areas but I haven't had any problems with it.Instantly brightens up the complexion with a super natural finish :D And its only for SR 24 talk about the cheapness :P

Have a nice day guys!!!

PS: This is a treat for my blog, to do two reviews in one, since I haven't been blogging regularly, due to school :D

Yay!
So recently..umm is 3-4 weeks ago recently?? well anyways 3-4 weeks back I actually had got the opportunity to go to Makkah & Madina by road yes !! at approx. a 12 hour ride :/
How can it be that someone who loves to travel doesn't really love any means of transportation :o
Oh! and also road trips are tiring, hot and gross especially if its 42 degrees outside at minimun ,plus the public restrooms are not made for our luxury..awhh maan the stench yuck!1 Okay enough with the ranting,so I wanted to let you know whst I carried with me ,some of the stuff did turn out to be useless and you'll just come to know why.
First of all the top picture is all the hygiene/skin stuff that I carried, and yeah I got carried away with the text but hey it looks fine.Solets start with the bullets:

This tote bag's from Paprika (Centrepoint brand) and I love it! It's so spacious and compact at the same time.

Facewash:Okay this is essential for when you arrive at the hotel, during the journey not much :D
Cleanser:This Eskinol cleanser is ah-mazing because it has Menthol in it,Yep,it's really refreshing during the journey,or when ever you want to feel like an ice cube! (I know, that wasn't funny -__-)
Moisturiser:This is the most essential item and did I tell you I love Nivea Soft ,it's just an "one-for-all" kind of moisturiser and not it doesn't make you feel or look like a grease-ball.
Sunscreen:Well,it wasn't important for the journey,as we travelled at night, but yes this is essential, you guys don't know whether it's scorching hot in the afternoons,so this is really important. This sunscreen by Nivea is cool but I hadn't discovered Neutrogena's back then ,or else Neutrogena's would be the one I recommend
Sanitiser: Very important, from when you return from the rest-rooms or before you eat in one of those deserted inns.I actually preferred the sanitiser over the hand wash.
Lip-Balm:This is important.because  I cannot say a minute with chapped lips, I got two just in case I lost the other, but nothing of the sort happened. The one I used was the red one by Labello.
Spot-treatment:This is so essential ladies, you don't know I always end up having allergies after the using the public restroom's water, rarely I break out,but if you guys do, then this is a must-take product.I have the Derma-T topical lotion and Fucidin cream .
Pain-killers:I get fatigued really easily, and I am really weak person,so I need to carry all kinds of pain-killers just in case my body decides to betray me.Took Rapidus (not in the picture) and Panadol with me :D
Eye-Roll on: Not that useful, but I was like what the heck it's so light-weight let me just get it with me.
Deodorants & Body Spray: How can these two,not be important, after all that heat and travelling you ought to stink :p,so I took my favourite Dove ones with me.

Lastly, these are my life-savers,catchers(claw clips) hair-ties everything.I got the in a small gift box :p also the claw clip is an essential,if you wear a hijab it gets the hair away from your face and no, at least not for me, it doesn't give the hump like effect .Oh the Vaseline and Tinted Moisturiser/Eye Roll-on were useless I was sceptical about carrying them,as apparently I wasn't going for modelling (I know religious purpose -_-), but I took them with me just in case we might want to go somewhere else, but didn't get to use them as I had allergy on my face dues to eggs and heat and the water :D

Lastly I use Estee Lauder make-up bag (a gift) to hold my face stuff and Ikeas Zip Lock bags to hold body products and the other one for instant-grab stuff I might use it without having to go through so much stuff :D Carrying stuff in different bags helps to accommodate a LOT of stuff and keeps it organised.Threw my hairbrush and camera in the last moment and few snacks YAY!!!

That's it for today, but typing with an injured finger is such a pain in the neck >_<

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah ,the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful...
This is a non-beauty related post and as you've guessed from the title, you pretty much know what the content is going to be about .

Before I continue a small disclaimer *All the images in the post do not belong to me they have been taken off from facebook.Credits go to their respectful owners*

Coming to the topic:
Just about a week back I had heard almost faintly on the news about this so called trailer ,but other than that I didnt know anything. But just 4 days back ,I wanted to know what was all the choas about ,when news focused on Pakistan .After googling it , I became aware of the shameful and sinful act that had been committed.I am not writing this post to talk about this person or the movie because all insults ever created will never make upto their ill-doing.
I am angered and hurt as no Muslim ever will hear a word against our beloved Rasool (s.AW.W) and  this blasphemy has been termed as "Freedom of Expression".Really? If that person really wanted to express where were his guts to come and adress the whole Muslim community in person,he even faked his name to do this.If tommorrow, we Muslims were to do anything will it still be classified as freedom of expression or will it be called terrorsim, racism, intolerence, anti-semetism or discrimimnation?

But more over what's happening across the globe, I don't know why Muslims are acting in an uncivilised manner , shedding Muslim blood, looting buildings and burning tyres.Protest!!!  I say so, do Protest, but peacefully just Like it was done in Lahore and Morroco , the enemies of Islam do not fear looted banks or burning tyres they fear crowded Masjids. In an attempt to show our anger, are we doing anything which our Prophet has taught us?Are we praying, are we being calm.Go protest my Muslims brothers and Sisters tell the world how much you love your Prophet , raise your voices, slogans, eveything but do not act like blood-thirsty animals .The purpose of this movie was to prove that we are the worst of the kind alive and by acting in this manner aren't we proving them right.

This what the Quran tells us to do , because we are answerable to Allah as to why didn't we stand up for our Rasool when he was disgraced but we should do it in one the most peaceful manners:

And (Mu'minoon are such that) when they hear foul speech, they turn away and say: "To us our deeds, and to you yours; peace be to you: we seek not the (ways of the) ignorant." (Quran, 28/55)

And do not argue with the People of the Scripture (Jews, Christians, etc.) except in the nicest manner. (Quran, 29/46)

When you hear the signs of Allah rejected and mocked at, just leave their company until they engage in a different discourse. (Quran, 4/140)

You shall certainly be tried and tested financially and personally/socially; and you shall certainly Hear a lot (that will grieve you) from those who received the Book before you (Jews, Christians etc.) and from polytheists; But if ye persevere with patience / steadfastness and piety-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs. (Quran, 3/186)

Hold to forgiveness; command the universal good; and turn away from the ignorant. (Quran, 7/199)

My salute to other religious groups who have supported the Muslims in the protest ,my respect to all for standing with us in such time and my heart swells with to see that the love for Rasool still lives in our hearts and that we haven't forgotten who we are.

La illa ha il lalla Muhammadar Rasoolallah!!!

Long time,no post I know but well school went a li'l hard on homework and I haven't been doing well for the past 5 days well :p getting to the topic

Don't you find it hard to organise all those Chiffon/Crinkle dupattas that come with your lawn/cotton dresses.Up till now I have gone crazy folding and stacking them in a separate row.But..but when it comes to taking any one of them out I had to redo them all again >_< I know ..so frustrating, so I got me-self an organiser TADAH!!!
Nothing special, but is still better than having tonnes of hangers like the picture to the left:

It was stressing out my hangers and also occupying so much of space :/
So I rolled them around the circular thingies and kept the heavier scarfs over all of them
Work done!! But this can still be a li'l ineffective as I am a lazy person,so once if I remove a scarf from here, its only weeks after that I roll it and put it up again.Otherwise it's perfect to keep the mess at a side :D
Look at those dupattttassss :p

I like how it turned out.Threw on some heavier and larger dupattas and there you go :D

PS: This post was supposed to be up last week but my Wi-Fi was messing with me :( so anyways the hanger is from HomeCentre I guess it was SR 9 .

**Have a nice day!!! **
